By mere coincidence I happen to remember this side exactly One year after my last weblog post .
From time to time I log on and check my messages and stuff (you people are mass messaging random crap). I also get my daily subscription digest on my email and I read it sometimes on my Blackberry, I would comment more often but the comments don't work on my blackberry's browser

Xanga is cool and helps me a lot on my english but let's face it.. It takes to much time to hang and blog around here! and I've been really busy with school and stuff. I'm about to finish my first year at dental school!
Soon I'll be on vacations and have lots of free time to hang around in here. So you should be expecting some Feature Questions blogs ocasionally

In case you were wondering my best friend Jen went to Mexico and is still there and visits whenever she can and we still remain best friends . I haven't gotten a new one but I did make some new close friends at college.

My dad is not the world's greatest dad. And my mom isn't the greatest mom either. But they had their good moments.
I have a sister who's 3 years older than me. (I'm 18). So we grew up pretty close. and what she had, I had. The same treatment was for the two of us. We were never spoiled, in fact we were disciplined. I listen to everything my parents said. but I've never been really close to them. In a way that I could talk to them about my personal life with my friends or boyfriends. But the way they raised my sister and me is very different than how they are  raising my brother and how they handle my sister and me now that we're crazy post-adolescent girls. They've become more intolerant, and more critic.

Before I start a rambling blog about parenthood. I think I will make a list. (That seems to be very popular around here)
This is a List of things I would most definitely will try to do as a parent. And that I think would make me a better parent than my own parents:

• Let my children make their own choices.
  As long as that choice makes them happy and doesn't affect them in a bad way.
• Listen to my children.
  When they're 6 and even more when they are on their teenage years, those are more important. Some people say that they talk to their children but all they do is listen for 20 seconds and then spend the next 20 minutes lecturing you about how you shouldn't hang with Metalheads  'cause they all do drugs. (when they don't!).
• Give them something Amazing.
  Once every few years find something that would make my kid incredibly happy. Not only because they wanted it. but also because it was totally unexpected. Like: a trip to visit their best friend who's in Mexico. or even something like: a surprise party with all their friends and lots of booze.
• My Rules on Dating:
  Girls:
  You can have a date alone with a boy when you are 15. I don't have to meet them If you don't want to. Only If it gets serious. 
  You can not date boys more than 4 years older than you. Until you are 18. Then you can date whoever you want.
  If you want to have sex. Please wait until you are at leat 17. If you can't wait, Always use protection.
  If you are going to have sex. It has to be your choice! Not because they guy said so.
  Boys:
  You can date at 15 if you want to. And please do not stay home with the boys all the time.
  You can not have girls over to your room. Please do not knock-up some random girl. Use protection!
• Teach them Respect.
  One way to achieve this is by respecting them first. I have to teach them to respect older people, and their parents. And something very important for the Boys: Teach them to Respect Women.

I'm sure I won't be the perfect parent. But I hope I don't forget this list. Because somehow, somewhere along the way to becoming parents they forget what It was like to be a kid, to be a teenager, or to be a girl leaving her teenage years behind.
